Today, weather.com suggested I play hooky from work because we’ll be experiencing record spring-like highs in my neck of the woods. Since I can’t do that, I’m consoling myself with:

• wearing my new (narrow!) mocs for the first time
• wearing the cotton blouse I got for Christmas and haven’t been able to wear yet
• dashing out the door with hair still wet*

*Inadvisable. It is still really too cold for that, but at least I’m not late.
