Working a bit on Pip’s nursery with my parents lately. I like the colors of this one a lot. Until J & I start to get things really settled, I’m afraid you’ll have to endure the occasional dream nursery (with the promise of our real deal when things are assembled).

On the advice of Apartment Therapy, who suggests photographing vignettes around your home as a means to loving it, I went snapping one sunny afternoon last week. This is probably my favorite, and a reminder that our apartment is home, even if our process of setting it up this time has been significantly delayed by work.
What little pieces of your home do you especially love?
Love this bedroom in general and this mantle in particular. Unfortunately everything my bedroom (=bed tent) is not. But on a cold winter’s night, snuggling into my lamplit rust-colored sheets, beneath a millions blankets, a little dog asleep under the bed — that’s okay, too.
…you have to switch out the clothes in closet seasonally because only one season fits at a time, for one.
