flew by all by myself for the first (and second) time ever. And didn’t ask to hold the hand of the passenger next to me whenever we hit turbulence.
threw a shower for the pretty lady above, along with her extremely capable sister, my mom, and our childhood friend, Cassi.
ate my weight in my dad’s chicken, biscuits, and famed twice-baked potatoes (then lay on the floor in front of a movie with my mom, an unsurprising result).
met up with two college chums on a beautiful, blossomy Tallahassee day (including one on tumblr, the notorious Shelby), then, in a bold and unintroverted move, Mardi Gras’d it up with Haley, despite her sleepy first trimester, and her sweet little family and friends (and baby chicks! also important!)
came home to Amherst, cleaned up cat vomit, broke up dog scuffles, did three loads of laundry, and slogged across town to move back into our oft-flooding apartment
Spring break, hmm. I could now skip straight through the New England early spring mud.
