Reblogged because of a.) my deep and undying love of You’ve Got Mail, and b.) my sister’s current employment at the real-life F-O-X equivalent.
The whole purpose of places like Starbucks is for people with no decision-making ability whatsoever to make six decisions just to buy one cup of coffee. Short, tall, light, dark, caf, decaf, low-fat, non-fat, etc. So people who don’t know what the hell they’re doing or who on earth they are, can, for only $2.95, get not just a cup of coffee but an absolutely defining sense of self: Tall! Decaf! Cappuccino!
sadly, You’ve Got Mail, my absolutely defining sense of self cost almost $5 with tip in today’s economy — but that may be attributable to my self being Small! Decaf! Iced! Mocha!

Is it wrong to envy Meg Ryan most of her (I recognize pretty uncool now) wardrobe in this movie? She always looks so slim and yet so comfortable. I could never stick to her character’s subdued palette, though.
